Lafayette Crossing — Fate
Target Anchors Major Mixed-Use Development
Lafayette Crossing is a 267-acre master-planned mixed-use development along Interstate 30 in Fate. The City of Fate announced a new Target as a major anchor retailer in August 2026.
The announced Target store is approximately 147,000 square feet. The development also includes plans for five additional retail and commercial pad sites surrounding the Target property.
Lafayette Crossing’s long-term plan includes more than 400,000 square feet of commercial and retail space, business districts, mixed-use areas and future residential opportunities.

Public project records describe a ground-up convenience-store development with a Sonic restaurant at the Gateway Sachse site.
Slate Shops at Sachse
Public filings identify new multi-tenant retail shell buildings at this location. Tenant improvement activity is also occurring within the development.
Sachse Commons Retail Center
Sachse Commons Retail Center remains listed among the city’s current commercial development projects.

Parker Pointe
Parker has reported that City Council heard an early development concept for property located predominantly outside the city’s limits within Parker’s extraterritorial jurisdiction.
Restore the Grasslands
Parker’s public updates describe ongoing development and legal activity involving an approximately 103-acre tract. City discussions have included a possible configuration of about 170 detached single-family homes.

Sachse’s planning records identify the Park Plaza Addition at this intersection. The city’s current development page continues to list Park Plaza among current or future residential projects.
Bunker Hill Townhomes
Bunker Hill Townhomes remains included on the city’s current/future residential development list.
