What’s included: Travel to your location, the first notarized signature and up to 15 minutes onsite.
Additional notarizations: Additional notarial acts are charged at the applicable Texas-authorized notary fee.
Other service areas: Locations not listed above are subject to a travel charge of $2.50 per mile plus applicable notary fees.
Appointments over 15 minutes: Additional onsite time is billed at $35 for each additional 15-minute increment.
Large document packages: Negotiated rates may be available for larger collections of documents and additional services such as printing, copying and shipping.
Electronic payment fees: A 3.5% convenience fee applies to credit-card transactions and a $4 fee applies to ACH transactions.
Understanding the Notary Fee and Mobile Trip Charge
Texas law establishes maximum fees that a notary may charge for official notarial acts. For an acknowledgment or proof of a written instrument, the current maximum is $10 for the first signature and $1 for each additional signature covered by that fee provision.
Our mobile pricing combines the applicable notary fee with a separate mobile service or travel charge based on the distance to your location.
