About This Data
This tracker summarizes property records published by the county appraisal districts that serve our area. It counts single-family homes and townhomes located within each city’s limits; apartments, condominiums, duplexes and manufactured homes are not included. Cities that span more than one county combine the records from each district.
Please keep in mind: appraisal districts finalize their records once a year, and each district publishes on its own schedule. These figures reflect each district’s most recently released records, so recently completed homes, new subdivisions, and recent changes to individual properties may not appear yet. Year built, living area and lot size are as recorded by each district and may differ from other sources. This page is intended as a general community overview, not as information about any specific property.

How we calculate: home age is measured from the year each home was built, as of 2026. Average size is the average living area of homes in each group. “Typical lot” is the median lot size, the point where half of lots are larger and half are smaller. Decades with fewer than 10 homes are not charted.
